I'm a retired Golden breeder. I switched all of my furkids over to Salt Ponds when they first opened. The vets and staff are courteous and helpful. My furkids are happy here. They've had bad experiences at other facilities which prompted the switch. At Salt Ponds the vets and staff get down on the floor and are patient with them. My concerns are addressed. I'm astounded by their knowledge when diagnosing along with the treatment recommended. Very happy with this facility. It's always clean and welcoming.

I just took my dog here for her annual check up. I recently moved from VA and my dog had the same vet there since she was a puppy. She is an older dog (almost 15) and very skittish. I was worried since this would be our first visit to a vet that wasn't her normal situation. Dr. Klinker was fantastic! This place is remarkable ! I started seeing them with my Rottweiler. Loki and Odin (my Doberman) was not ready to be seen but he had an issue with his paw. They took me right in same day. No hesitation! I just recently had an emergency visit for my almost 13 year old bulldog Penelope and even though the vet had to leave by a certain time they still took her same day! I recommend this place 100% I’m so happy to have a place like this in town..I appreciate all the veterinarians around us but the lack of hesitation to take my dogs who were not yet established makes it a very special place !!

I have been bringing my two maltese to Dr. levy for two years. I find the care to be excellent, and compassionate. Sadly, in August, my little guy, Roscoe, at 17, developed a condition for which, at his age the only thing to do was to help Roscoe cross the Rainbow Bridge. I do wish that there would be a bereavement room, with comfortable chairs, that I could have said my final good byes in comfort, instead of a sterile exam room. I also wanted a clay foot print and a wisp of his hair, but I did not mention that, my fault.

Switched to them from turco. They were able to complete a stomach tacking and spay on my almost 80 pound great pyrenees. My puggle was hit by a car and they were willing to see her and monitor her care when turco could not. These are some of the very talented and caring vets from Coventry Animal Hospital where we've been going for years. Still go there too. Contacted Salt Ponds AH before they opened to try to get my dog in for their first week of appointments. Dr. Levy called me back on a Sunday, we discussed what we needed from the visit and scheduled for the following Tuesday afternoon (today) which was their second day open at this location. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly when we arrived. The vet tech Marie was very thorough with taking her history and made a point to give my dog all the pets and let her get comfortable. Dr. Levy was prompt even though he was juggling caring for some sick puppies at the time. When my dog started grumbling at him (because she didn't know him) he sat on the floor with her and let her come to him to gain her trust which was great as she is very nervous around new people. We thoroughly discussed her health, allergies, and options moving forward. He was gentle with her physical exam and got her glands expressed with minimal discomfort, gave me some drops for her ear infection and got me on my way. All in all it was a fantastic experience and Dr. Levy is very knowledgeable, personable, and has great bedside manner. The bill for the visit and her meds was also very reasonable. I will be recommending Salt Ponds (and Coventry AH, their sister location) to everyone!
